Brief Biography

Born in 1969 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, Shunichi Sasaki worked for a major general contractorand later joined his father's construction company. In 2005, he founded Manyou Kensetsu Co., Ltd. With a management philosophy of "Employees First", he established systems to enhance work-life balance and career development support. Additionally, he is actively involved in volunteer activities.

At Manyou Kensetsu, we undertake projects ranging from private residential construction to public works. My management focus is on “people”. I always focus on how we can maximize the happiness of everyone involved, including both our clients and our employees. This approach has led to high employee retention rates, increased customer satisfaction, and a strong rate of repeat business. Despite the challenges in recruiting within the construction industry, we attract a diverse range of candidates. Our company's appeal lies in the positive cycle created by putting people at the heart of our business.

While focusing on people, we also embrace digital transformation. We carefully differentiate between tasks suited for technology, those better handled by the team, and those better managed individually. Despite the growing prevalence of technology, I consider people to be at the core, so maximizing each individual's value is of great importance to me. I've shared our methods with professionals and students across Japan, and I hope to extend this passion to a global audience in the future.

As Japan grapples with a decreasing overall workforce, the construction industry is similarly affected. Nevertheless, I am committed to preserving and promoting Japan's unique craftsmanship and ensuring it is passed onto future generations. While many young individuals may not be familiar with the construction industry or have considered it as a career path, I aim to continue communicating that "the construction industry offers significant and rewarding opportunities."

Currently, our company is well-established in Chiba Prefecture, and our primary focus is on maximizing our impact within the region. Over time, I aim to share this vision with various other areas. At the same time, leading by example is crucial, so it is important to solidify our own foundation. I remain dedicated to embracing a spirit of innovation and will continue to pursue excellence in our efforts.
